Seers Poncho's origin dates back to 1999 when a group of friends, all of whom happened to be musicians, decided to get together to "see what happens". Over the years, a rootsy brand of pop rock influenced by reggae, blues, classic rock, soul and jazz emerged. This fusion of styles and unique approach to creating music helped Seers Poncho become one of the more distinctive bands in the Chicago scene.
